Issamar Pichardo is joining Namlo as the Research and Evaluation Intern. Issamar has a Bachelor’s in Geography with an emphasis in environmental science, as well as a Geographic Information Systems Certificate. She is passionate about making a difference for vulnerable populations. Her interests include women’s rights, natural hazards, gentrification, urban food deserts, and mapping urban issues. Her work experience ranges from reproductive justice, comprehensive sexual education, to investigating the effect floods have had on the Latino population in Colorado.
