Colorado’s largest one-day online giving event, presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, is coming up and we need your support.

On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, thousands of donors will come together to support Colorado nonprofits like ours. Last year, a record-breaking $20.9 million was distributed to Colorado nonprofits. Our portion was $13,000.  This year, our goal is to raise $30,000!  We so much appreciate all your past support, and there is still a lot of work to do to help people in our communities in Nepal and Nicaragua.  As you know, we have an ambitious program scheduled for 2015 including starting school construction in a new community (Mankha, Nepal), women’s economic development projects in Dhuskun, Nepal, and increasing our greenhouse project in Nicaragua from six household participants to fifty.  Think of these as real investments that provide a great return for people in need, ranging from a 20-40% increase in incomes for the women of Dhuskun to a 50% increase in incomes for households participating in the greenhouse project in Nicaragua.
