Namlo's First Community Reaches Self-Sufficiency
Namlo was founded, in 1999, with the goal of bringing education and self sustainable community development to remote areas of the world. Our commitment to these remote communities is to facilitate self-sufficiency through education and sustainable community development, while respecting the culture of the community.
Namlo partners with a community for a specified number of years, during this time engaging community members in programs that are sustainable, individualized, and comprehensive. It is the goal that after their time partnering with Namlo these communities will reach self-sufficiency. We are happy to report that Yarmasing, Nepal, the first community with which Namlo partnered, has now reached their goal of self-sufficiency.
